The role will assist the Senior Manager, IT Operations and Cybersecurity on IT End user Computing (EUC), IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity activities and facilities. This includes ensuring efficient IT operations by providing timely technical support and maintenance to the EUC environment, IT infrastructure as well as to maintain and enhance NVPC's cybersecurity posture.


DESIGNATION : Associate, IT Service Management and Cybersecurity (1-year Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform initial setup and configuration of laptops, ensuring they meet company standards and security policies
  • Create, update, and maintain baseline images for laptops and other devices to ensure consistency and security
  • Ensure IT assets are sufficient and in secure working condition. All assets need to be accountable for i.e. tracked, inventoried, handed over and taken over with supporting documents
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Plan, implement, review and maintain Information Security Framework to improve the overall security posture of NVPC. This includes IT Risk Management, IT Policies & Procedures, IT Audit, governance and its compliances for both internal and external facing IT systems
  • Conduct corporate security awareness and training programs to NVPC staff to minimize the impact of potential security threats.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field
  • Basic understanding of laptop baselining and configuration
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Experienced in Cloud and on-premises IT Infrastructure and security development and management
  • Experienced in IT support / helpdesk / end-user computing roles
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
