We are seeking to hire an Associate to support the Investment Group in the evaluation of global investment opportunities in both nature-based solutions and technology-based solutions. The individual should be highly motivated, intelligent and sound judgement and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. This role offers the unique opportunity to join a fast-growing and dynamic organisation in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform market research and closely follow industry trends in technology-based solutions, including but not limited to, carbon capture, low-carbon materials and low-carbon fuels sectors
• Support the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities through:
• Financial modelling, valuation analyses, and sensitivity & scenario analyses
• Technical evaluation of carbon crediting and carbon impact potential
• Conduct in-depth due diligence across commercial, financial, tax, ESG and legal workstreams, in conjunction with Corporate departments
• Preparing written analyses, evaluations and presentations for investment opportunities for use and review by relevant stakeholders
• Assist with the ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies, and undertake required analysis of performance against investment thesis and projected returns
• Support tracking of investment pipeline and pace of deployment, as well as dynamic portfolio allocation and construction

Experience and Qualifications

• Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines in business, finance and/or environmental sciences or engineering/STEM fields preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Ideal to have a strong interest in the area of sustainability and topics relating to carbon markets, nature-based solutions and technology-based solutions for decarbonisation
• Analytical problem-solver with attention to details
