Job summary

Grab is seeking a data-driven analyst for the Fulfilment & Demand team in Singapore. You will work onsite at the One North office, applying analytics to demand, supply, pricing, and marketplace strategy to support revenue and service health.

You will perform cross-functional analyses, build insights for stakeholders, and contribute to special projects from problem structuring to communication. Fresh graduates with 0–1 year in consulting or analytics are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 0–1 year experience in consulting, strategy, analytics or BI in tech.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; storytelling with PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data-driven insights using analytics to guide demand, supply, pricing and marketplace strategy.
• Analyze marketplace issues to support revenue, profit growth and service health.
• Support cross-functional projects from problem structuring to execution and communication.
• Collaborate with Product, Regional strategy and Marketing to drive high-impact initiatives.

Get to Know the Team

The Fulfilment and Demand team oversees and grows the Singapore Mobility business (JustGrab, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium etc.). This includes implementing strategy around demand (passengers), supply (driver-partners), pricing & marketplace, while also undertaking product rollouts and special projects.

Projects managed by the team often involve creative problem-solving, analysis using large data sets and deriving insights to create high-impact solutions.

You will be working onsite at the Grab One North Office

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Use both strategic and analytics toolkits to deliver data-driven business insights and recommendations to stakeholders to act upon (e.g. customer segmentation and strategy, demand / supply strategy, channel strategy)
• Perform analysis of marketplace issues (e.g. demand, supply, pricing) to improve for business objectives (e.g. revenue / profit growth, service health)
• Support on special projects end-to-end involving skills such as problem structuring, analysis, project management, communication & stakeholder management
• Work in a team to solve business-critical issues through rigorous analysis, big picture thinking with consideration for operational detail
• Execute on initiatives with attention to cross-functional requirements including operations, marketing / comms, driver-partner relations, regulatory compliance etc.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple functionalities including Product, Regional strategy, Partner Operations and marketing to execute on high-impact initiatives

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• A bachelor's degree in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics/ Information Science / Engineering or a related field
• 0 to 1 year of experience in consulting, Strategy, Analytics, Business Intelligence roles (especially in tech companies)
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; vivid storytelling skills with Powerpoint
• Basic proficiency in SQL (Python is a bonus)
• Strong business acumen - ability to articulate complex analyses and translate these to actionable business insights
• Understand the root cause of problems; able to work with a multidisciplinary team to propose creative solutions
• Able to pivot quickly from long-term thinking to immediate action tactical response
