Job description:

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare accounts and maintain ledgers for SP Group of companies, including data entry, reconciliations, and filing of supporting documents.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, schedules, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare and record fixed asset activities, including generating fixed assets report, scheduling maintenance, and related financial activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and direct/indirect tax requirements, including the preparation and submission of reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, including financial and operational policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate and support in the year-end audits and prepare the financial statements and notes in accordance with accounting standards and Group policies.
  • Support the incorporation of new financial accounting process flows for new businesses, departments, etc.
  • Support the creation, testing, and review of functional requirements and refine financial operating systems as necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and financial institutions to support SP Group's financial objectives.
  • Participate in and support Kaizen initiatives for the General Ledger team.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
