Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform Fiber Testing and Fiber Rectification work for various customers. Oversee contractors in the execution of maintenance works.
• Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with established operational procedures and engineering guidelines.
• Ensure contractors adhere to safety procedures in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA) and use the appropriate safety equipment.
• Will be required to be activated after office hours when necessary to attend to escalation and fibre outage.
• Progressively update direct supervisor on daily work assignment and update relevant documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of working experience.
• Able to work during non‑office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours standby alert for ad‑hoc faults.
• Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
