Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd is seeking a hands-on assembly technician on a 12-month contract in Singapore. The role involves assembling and testing electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic components, reading blueprints, and performing basic production tests with supervision.

You will support troubleshooting, data entry into MES, and safety compliance while cross-training across product lines. The position is based in Serangoon North, with standard hours and potential for renewal or conversion.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with hands-on production and assembly tasks

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electro-mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies following standard work instructions.
• Perform basic production tests on machines and sub-assemblies using test benches and measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and Bills of Materials with supervision.
• Support troubleshooting and minor repair activities under guidance.
• Enter production data into the Manufacturing Execution System to track progress and results.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and safe work practices.
• Assist cross-training across product lines as directed.

Job Details

• Location: Serangoon North
• Salary: Up to $3,000 Basic + 1 Month Completion bonus + OT Payable
• Duration: 12 Months Contract (Renewable/Convertible)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 6.45 am to 3.15 pm, Alternate Saturday 6.45 am to 3.15 pm (with 45 minutes break in between)

Job Scope

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec and above in any Engineering / Electronics related field
• Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical principles, ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Comfortable to do hands-on production and assembly tasks
• Available on short notice
