Job summary

SILICON BOX is seeking an Associate Engineer, QA (Process Quality Control) to support the PQC team. You will enter data, maintain QC records, and prepare quality reports and gate materials. The Associate Engineer, QA (Process Quality Control) is responsible for supporting the PQC team through accurate data entry, maintenance of quality records, and preparation of documentation such as quality reports and quality gate materials. The role involves coordinating with production and engineering teams to ensure completeness and accessibility of quality information for audits and customer requirements. The Associate Engineer will also collaborate with Quality Inspectors to review inspection results and manufacturing lot workflows. Training and guidance on Quality procedures will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Enter data and maintain QC records, inspection reports, and test results in the company's database or filing system to ensure accurate quality tracking
• Organize and maintain quality documentation for manufactured products to support compliance and product integrity
• Update and file quality control documents systematically for easy retrieval and audit readiness
• Prepare certificates, inspection reports, and quality documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to collect and compile quality-related information and documents for comprehensive quality management
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits and quality inspections to support compliance processes
• Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure quality records are well organized and accessible
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the QC department’s daily operations as needed
• Coordinate work for Inspectors with Quality line leaders and Quality supervisor
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by reporting manager

Requirements

• Diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Administration, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, to manage quality documentation efficiently
• 1-2 years of experience in data entry, document control, or quality control support within a manufacturing environment to enhance accuracy and process understanding
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation to maintain high-quality standards
• Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with different departments to facilitate smooth quality processes
