    • Standardize hardware, firmware, and configurations across regions and sites.
  • Implementation & Project Delivery
    • Oversee deployment and commissioning of physical security systems for greenfield and brownfield projects.
    • Manage relationships with security integrators, vendors, and contractors; review SOWs, bids, and change orders.
    • Define acceptance testing criteria and sign‑off for system handover to operations.
    • Drive continuous improvement in installation quality, documentation, and commissioning processes.
  • Operations, Reliability & Compliance
    • Establish performance, availability, and reliability SLAs for security systems; monitor KPIs and drive remediation.
    • Ensure proper integration with Security Operations Centers (SOCs), PSIM/PSA platforms, and incident management tools.
    • Maintain system hardening and patching standards in collaboration with IT and cybersecurity teams.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS, TIA‑942, local regulations).
    • Champion security‑by‑design principles in all data center projects.
  • Risk Management & Incident Response
    • Collaborate with onsite Security Manager to conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for physical security.
    • Define technical controls to mitigate risks such as unauthorized access, tailgating, insider threat, and perimeter breaches.
    • Provide technical leadership during security incidents related to physical systems; oversee root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
    • Support customer audits, RFP responses, and due diligence related to physical security capabilities.
  • Budgeting & Vendor Management
    • Develop and manage capital and operating budgets for security systems across the portfolio.
    • Evaluate and select hardware and software platforms; lead vendor performance reviews and roadmap discussions.
    • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost‑effective and scalable solutions.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Security Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in physical security systems engineering, with at least 5+ years in data centers, critical infrastructure, or large enterprise environments.
