Associate Director Retail Operation Offline Business
Incumbent in this role will create an annual operating plan for the entire network in alignment with growth targets. They will cascade this strategy to each region and store, leading operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management for all formats (EBO + SIS).
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for direction and leadership of all retail sales activities.
- Define metrics and implement controls to drive operations, e.g., profitability by store, growth, market share, time to profitability, etc., and conduct regular reviews to meet targets.
- Implement and maintain operational policies to drive revenue, control costs, manage shrinkage, and ensure audit compliance.
- Ensure a cohesive customer experience across markets with a customer-first approach.
- Collaborate with marketing to design localized marketing plans, driving store-specific marketing initiatives for maximum sales.
- Increase sales performance through data analysis and market insights.
- Manage costs, overheads, and factors affecting profitability.
- Oversee workforce planning and organizational structure for the department.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate or Postgraduate with 14+ years of experience in retail sales/operations.
- Understanding of retail dynamics, including operations, visual merchandising, buying, etc.
- Proven skills in conflict management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.
