Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to generate new business opportunities and establish and maintain target lists, developing client relationships.
- Conduct prospecting activities including phone calls, ads, cold emails, social media, in-person meetings, and other methods.
- Utilize our CRM to log all activities, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business, as well as planning daily activities.
- Collaborate with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate.
- Manage all aspects of the sales/business development process (prospecting, sales meetings, company introductions and presentations, proposals, negotiations, and account management).
- Build, nurture, and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Support the Sales team in solving technical challenges and closing deals.
- Understand clients' business environments and communicate their value propositions clearly.
- Update internal sales systems, data dashboards, and support stakeholders with data and asset resources.
What You Need to Bring to The Table
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of proven success in business development in Non-IT sectors, focusing on industries such as Engineering, Healthcare, Legal, and Finance within the US Staffing Industry.
- Ability to develop and acquire regional or national accounts with significant revenue impact.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of developing long-term client partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of staffing business functions, services, business strategy, policies, and procedures.
