Job summary

Singtel is seeking an Associate Director to lead Managed Services Products, shaping the portfolio and roadmap across CPE, WiFi, LAN, IoT, and sustainability. You will own end-to-end lifecycle, identify trends, and define pricing and investment priorities to drive growth.

Lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, and Operations, translating market needs into scalable tech solutions and platform-based offerings with strong commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• 10–15 years of experience in telecommunications, ICT, enterprise networking, technology solutions, digital platforms or managed services.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies including CPE, LAN, WiFi, switching, network management, orchestration and service assurance.
• Experience developing and commercializing technology solutions, managed services and/or digital platforms.
• Good understanding of platform architecture, APIs, automation, orchestration, analytics and AI-enabled operations.
• Experience driving platformization, product simplification or transformation from bespoke solutions towards scalable and reusable service capabilities will be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business cases, pricing, revenue management and portfolio profitability.
• Proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams to deliver strong business and technology outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Managed Services, Technology Solutions and Platforms strategy and roadmap aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Managed CPE, WiFi, LAN/Switching, IoT, Sustainability and related technology solutions.
• Identify market trends and opportunities to drive portfolio innovation.
• Define portfolio positioning, differentiation, commercial models and investment priorities.
• Drive portfolio rationalisation and convergence towards common platforms and reusable technology capabilities.
• Establish KPI s covering revenue, profitability, customer adoption, attach rates and platform utilization.
• Lead development and commercialization of technology solutions addressing enterprise networking, digital infrastructure, automation and sustainability requirements.
• Translate customer and market requirements into scalable, repeatable and commercially viable technology solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Solution Architecture to define architecture and solution blueprints.
• Drive innovation that improves service performance, customer experience, operational efficiency and speed-to-market.
• Define the platformization strategy for Managed Services and move towards modular, scalable service platforms.
• Develop common capabilities across orchestration, provisioning, monitoring, analytics and self-service.
• Champion an API-first and automation-led approach for integration across systems.
• Drive adoption of AI and intelligent automation to enhance service assurance and cost-efficiency.
• Work with Operations to simplify service delivery and cost-to-serve through platform consolidation.
• Develop compelling managed service propositions combining connectivity, network infrastructure, technology platforms, automation and operational services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Solution Architecture to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
• Translate enterprise challenges into commercially viable managed service offerings.
• Develop propositions around sustainability, energy efficiency and intelligent infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, interoperable and operating efficiently.

Make an impact by:

• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to incorporate AI, automation, analytics, APIs and orchestration into the Managed Services portfolio.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Solution Architecture to define technology architecture and solution blueprints.
• Drive innovation that improves service performance, customer experience, operational efficiency and speed-to-market.

Platformization & Automation

• Define and drive the platformization strategy for Managed Services, moving from product-specific and bespoke solutions towards common, modular and scalable service platforms.
• Develop common capabilities across service orchestration, provisioning, monitoring, assurance, analytics, reporting and customer self-service.
• Champion an API-first and automation-led approach to enable integration across network, cloud, operational and customer-facing systems.
• Drive adoption of AI and intelligent automation to enhance service assurance, proactive management and operational efficiency.
• Establish reusable service components and standardized architectures to accelerate the launch and scaling of new managed services.
• Work with Operations and Engineering to simplify service delivery and improve cost-to-serve through platform consolidation and automation.

Product & Solution Development

• Develop compelling managed service propositions combining connectivity, network infrastructure, technology platforms, automation and operational services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Solution Architecture to develop scalable and operationally efficient solutions.
• Translate enterprise customer challenges into commercially viable managed service offerings.
• Develop new propositions around sustainability, energy efficiency and intelligent infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions are designed with scalability, security, interoperability and operational efficiency in mind.
• Act as a subject matter leader in articulating the value of platform-based managed services, intelligent networking, automation and sustainability.

Commercial & Business Leadership

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, service providers, system integrators, application developers, and ecosystem partners.
• Identify opportunities for joint solution development and co-selling initiatives
• Negotiate partnership frameworks that support business growth and innovation.
• Drive revenue, profitability and customer adoption across the Managed Services and Technology Solutions portfolio.
• Develop business cases, pricing strategies and commercial models for new products, platforms and services.
• Identify opportunities to create new recurring and platform-based revenue streams.
• Support strategic bids and complex enterprise opportunities by providing product, technology and commercial leadership.
• Partner with Sales to increase Managed Services and Technology Solutions attachment to connectivity and enterprise network services.
• Ensure portfolio competitiveness while maintaining sustainable margins and return on investment.

Cross-functional Leadership

• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Delivery, Finance and Marketing.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders to accelerate technology development, platformization, commercialization and customer adoption.
• Establish effective product and platform governance, roadmap prioritization and lifecycle management.
• Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of innovation, customer focus, commercial accountability and technology leadership.
