A leading financial services provider is seeking an experienced professional in investment banking to join their team. The role involves executing ECM transactions, managing M&A processes, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders across Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance background, excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, and have a proven track record in deal execution.

Job Responsibilities:
Execute ECM (Equity Capital Markets) transactions — including IPOs, secondary listings, rights issues, placements, general offers and delistings.
Manage the end-to-end execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures, especially in Southeast Asia with Singapore as a hub.
Coordinate with regional and global teams to deliver on cross-border deals involving Singapore equity markets.
Oversee financial, legal, and commercial due diligence performed for M&A and IPO listing transactions
Lead in the preparation of client pitch books and market update presentations for deal origination and fund raising.
Assist with the coverage of PRC corporates and educate potential clients on the SGX listing requirements.
Job Requirements:
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. The candidate will be working with Chinese and Southeast Asian clients.
Strong analytical skills and business analysis
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
Proven track record in deal execution, including managing various workstreams and coordinating with different stakeholders
At least seven years of investment banking or corporate finance experience.
Candidates with a proven track record in IPO deal execution on the SGX, HKEX or Malaysia Bursa are preferred.
Previous experience liaising with or coverage of Chinese corporates are welcomed but not essential.
Relevant degree with excellent academic results from a reputable university.
Ability to perform well under pressure and produce deliverables in a timely manner
Independent and able to lead transactions with minimal supervision
Strong communication and presentation skills
