Design and lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy for all fresh product categories (Produce, Meat & Poultry, Seafood, Frozen, and Dairy), with a sharp focus on achieving the three key business objectives: Availability, Inventory Turnover, and Waste Reduction.
Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy Development
- Develop differentiated supply chain models tailored to each category(Produce, Protein, Dairy and Frozen etc).
- Establish a tiered forecasting and planning process integrating Demand Forecasting, S&OP, and Replenishment
End-to-End Inventory Management
- Lead sales forecasting and order planning across all fresh categories to balance out-of-stock risk with turnover efficiency.
- Drive inventory analysis and optimization:
- Identify and resolve slow-moving stock to ensure turnover KPIs are met.
- Define dynamic safety stock levels adjusted by category, channel, and seasonality.
- Implement loss-control programs targeting high-waste categories (e.g., leafy vegetable spoilage, live seafood mortality).
Process & Collaboration Management
- Optimize ordering and replenishment processes, promoting automation and standardization (from purchase orders to reverse logistics).
- Establish supplier capacity collaboration mechanisms to align production and supply with dynamic demand.
- Upstreaming management to balance longer leadtime needed upstream ordering and short lead time sales dynamic adjustment
- Lead and develop the team of planners across Produce, Meat & Seafood, Dairy, and Frozen divisions.
Job Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or any other related profession.
- 10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Marketing, Demand Supply Planning, Merchandising, Finance, or related fields is required.
RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience
- 10+ years in supply chain planning, with deep operational experience across at least three fresh categories (Produce / Meat & Seafood / Dairy / Frozen).
- 5+ years of leading large teams (30+ members) across multiple channels (Modern Trade, E-commerce, Community Group-Buying).
- Core Competencies
- Inventory Management Expertise: Proven track record in fresh supply chain inventory optimization and waste-reduction programs.
- Forecasting & Process Design: Hands-on experience in building and running S&OP and replenishment systems.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong ability to lead cross-category teams, resolve conflicts, and build organizational alignment.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency with supply chain planning systems and data analytics skills
- Category Knowledge
- Meat & Seafood: Cut/transformation management.
- Produce: Reduction of leafy vegetable spoilage, impact of ripening processes on turnover.
- Dairy: Short shelf-life product management, clearance strategies for near-expiry products.
- Frozen: Seasonal capacity planning, cost optimization in cross-regional allocation.
