Job description

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad

Reports to: Dept Head/Function Head

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and lead the Business Finance function, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  2. Be highly strategic, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to complex financial problems.
  3. Develop medium to long-term financial and strategic plans in collaboration with cross-functional senior leadership and the finance team.
  4. Manage cost centre budgeting and forecasting for various functional groups, analyzing results monthly.
  5. Ensure financial operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  6. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Oversee financial reporting, analysis, planning, and forecasting.
  8. Support M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, and integration planning.
  9. Develop and implement SOPs, financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  10. Ensure team members have the resources, tools, and support needed to perform effectively.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead change initiatives.
  12. Train and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals.
Requirements
  1. Qualified CA with 10-12 years of experience.
  2. Strategic mindset with a strong business finance background.
  3. Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, planning, valuations, and variance analysis; experience in M&A is an advantage.
  4. Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and compliance.
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing large teams.
  7. Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.
  8. Experience in a services organization is preferred.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  10. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
