Position: Associate Director of Experience Design

As Associate Director, you will lead multidisciplinary design projects from experience definition through execution. This includes framing opportunities with clients, structuring research activities, facilitating workshops, driving concept explorations, and prototyping client products and services. You will guide your team and communicate complex concepts effectively, supporting product and engineering teams in bringing digital products to market by translating strategies into actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and design multi-channel digital solutions in a collaborative environment.
• Partner with clients as an internal champion and advisor to align design with their business goals.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through complex projects.
• Conduct and interpret research to inform design decisions, including stakeholder interviews, customer research, usability evaluations, and user testing.
• Shape project scope, influence strategy, and conduct research throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Host workshops and work sessions with internal and external teams.
• Create artifacts such as customer journeys, service blueprints, ecosystems, prototypes, and design documentation.
• Mentor and manage team members in experience design.
• Contribute to a diverse and innovative organizational culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in digital product/service design and research.
• Experience in defining, creating, and launching digital products/services.
• Proven success in leading teams and managing projects.
• Degree in Design, Human Factors, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating research, strategy, design, and storytelling skills.

Location & Travel

Based in Bengaluru with remote work; occasional travel up to 15% for meetings.
