Job description

Reports to: Group Chief Corporate Officer / C-suite leaders

The Associate Director / Director of People & Development leads the entire Human Resources (HR) function with a focus on strategic alignment to business goals. This role oversees HR strategy, operations, and team development, and acts as a senior advisor to executives and department heads on complex people-related issues, including compensation strategy and benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities:

A. HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to deliver high-quality HR services.

  • Serve as primary HR partner to senior executives and department heads.

  • Lead HR aspects of organizational change, including restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, or integrations.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the CCO or C-suite leaders.

B. Talent Management & Employee Relations

  • Drive workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.

  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations, performance management, and organizational change issues.

  • Champion organizational culture, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.

  • Secure and manage partnership programs for staff benefits including F&B discounts, retail promotions, and employee perks.

C. Compensation & HR Operations

  • Lead the design, implementation, and review of compensation, incentives, and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.

  • Conduct regular compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure alignment with industry standards.

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Oversee HR systems, reporting, and key metrics to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
