A leading human resources firm in Singapore is looking for an Associate Director / Director of People & Development to lead the HR function. This role focuses on strategic alignment with business goals, overseeing HR strategy, operations, and team development while providing advisory to executives on people-related complexities. Ideal candidates have strong experience in HR strategy, employee relations, and compensation management.
Reports to: Group Chief Corporate Officer / C-suite leaders
The Associate Director / Director of People & Development leads the entire Human Resources (HR) function with a focus on strategic alignment to business goals. This role oversees HR strategy, operations, and team development, and acts as a senior advisor to executives and department heads on complex people-related issues, including compensation strategy and benchmarking.
Key Responsibilities:
A. HR Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to deliver high-quality HR services.
Serve as primary HR partner to senior executives and department heads.
Lead HR aspects of organizational change, including restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, or integrations.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the CCO or C-suite leaders.
B. Talent Management & Employee Relations
Drive workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations, performance management, and organizational change issues.
Champion organizational culture, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
Secure and manage partnership programs for staff benefits including F&B discounts, retail promotions, and employee perks.
C. Compensation & HR Operations
Lead the design, implementation, and review of compensation, incentives, and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Conduct regular compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Oversee HR systems, reporting, and key metrics to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
