Job Summary
The role will be responsible for driving our established ZBEdge commercial model including a robust operating and reporting mechanism, providing strategic leadership, executing sales plans to ensure profitable growth of the Robotics and ZBEdge business, and provide strategic product marketing direction and execution in APAC.
The role will collaborate with global and regional leadership teams to deliver on the strategic priorities and continuously improve business performance.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial operating and reporting mechanism that will drive accountability within the APAC region and countries through sales funnel management, revenue performance metrics against established goals while performing win-loss analyses.
- Lead the strategic product direction mechanism within the APAC region and countries and communicate the same to the global business units to ensure a healthy pipeline of new ZBEdge, ROSA, and other technological solutions for Asia Pacific surgeons and sales teams.
- Collaborate with the APAC Business Development organization to either bring third party products or to develop new ZBEdge solutions to Asia Pacific.
- Own the responsibility for regional revenue and installations in terms of Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Projections. Drive Robotics and ZB Edge adoption ownership and consistent procedure metrics for ROSA and ZB Edge.
- Direct the sales governance policies through continuing assessment and support on capital product pricing and sales models.

- Understanding of robotics and capital equipment sales processes
- Understanding of regulations and guidelines in APAC pertaining to medical devices and capital sales processes
- Be well versed with the various sales models that are utilized in capital medical device sales in APAC
- Understanding of software sales and licensing deal structures and mechanisms
- Understanding of industry trends and competitive strategy outlook in order to identify opportunities
- Develop sales process based on individual country requirements and global guidelines
- Implement business plans as the result of analyses and assessments.

- Oversees the formulation of sales strategies and tactical execution.

Education/ Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Sales & Marketing, Economics, Science or related field required.
- Medical Capital Equipment sales (Imaging / Robotics) experience is required
- Minimum 8 years of successful frontline sales or commercial excellence experience in the medical device industry or related business experience required
- Robotics sales experience and medical software sales experience would be highly preferred.
- MBA preferred.
