Job summary

S&P Global Energy is seeking an Associate Director within the Metals & Mining group. You will lead a team creating asset-driven cost models for critical minerals, interfacing with S&P Global Energy and Market Intelligence to deliver cohesive pricing, supply and demand outlooks.

Strong leadership and advanced modeling skills are essential. You will drive product roadmaps, deepen customer relationships, and collaborate across the global organization to refine interfaces and data offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience creating bottoms-up economic models for mining or commodities.
• Proven track record of successful people leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High technical literacy with delivery toolsets (Excel, SQL, Python).
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to work with many stakeholders and take product from idea to reality.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of analysts to create asset-driven cost models for critical minerals across upstream and midstream.
• Provide SME input to refine the client user interface.
• Collaborate with other teams on product and data roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand needs.
• Collaborate with other groups across S&P Global to enable coordinated coverage.
