Job description

  • Coordinate with Director CMP for developing and executing CMP strategy.
  • Develop a pathway for CMP to scale-up operations and expand the reach of its key publications, which includes case studies and the Centre's tri-annual magazine Asian Management Insights (AMI).
  • Work closely with the AMI editorial team to provide editorial guidance and support for manuscripts.
  • Identify new case study leads and source articles for AMI and other publications.
  • Develop trusted senior-level relationships among faculty, research staff, as well as industry and business leaders.
  • Work closely with faculty to co-develop case studies tailored to SMU curriculum and custom pedagogy for executive education clients.
  • Grow long-term, repeat project collaboration through relationships and high-quality deliverables unique to faculty and client needs.
  • Demonstrate high capabilities in business writing, analysis, and management education.
  • Lead efforts in crafting of publication/dissemination strategies for content.
  • Manage tracking and analysing case and AMI download trends, and payment of royalties.
  • Track viewership of content, page view and impressions through online dissemination platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics or related subject; PhD preferred.
  • About 15 years of relevant work experience.
  • Editorial experience preferred, especially in translating scientific or scholarly content for general audience.
  • Successful client and project management experience.
  • Staff management experience.
  • Experience dealing with and presenting to senior-level executives and senior faculty.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills a must.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
