Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to join our Direct Investment Team as an Associate Director. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact investment transactions, gain exposure across multiple industries, and play a pivotal part in managing portfolio value creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Origination & Execution – Source investment opportunities, participate in negotiations, and drive end-to-end transaction processes.
  • Due Diligence Leadership – Lead comprehensive due diligence on potential deals, including business diligence, risk assessment, coordination of external advisors, and successful transaction closure.
  • Investment Committee Engagement – Support the preparation and presentation of investment cases to the Investment Committee.
  • Portfolio Management – Oversee and monitor portfolio companies, including loan coupon payments and principal repayments, while ensuring performance tracking.
  • Reporting & Valuation – Prepare fund reports, portfolio performance updates, and valuation analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 8 years of experience in venture capital, private equity/credit, or investment banking.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with deep knowledge of valuation methodologies.
  • Experience in conducting due diligence from financial, legal, and operational perspectives.
  • Exposure to investments in emerging markets, particularly across Asia.
  • Strong interest in impact investing and familiarity with impact measurement frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. CFA or MBA qualifications are a plus.
