Job summary

A technology firm in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Design Assistant to support design engineers. Responsibilities include assisting in design work, managing documentation, and designing jigs using 3D CAD software. Responsibilities:

• Assist Design Engineers in design work and development
• Prepare and manage machine loading documentation using Excel
• Upload and maintain design documentation to Windchill system
• Design of jigs and fixtures customization using 3D CAD software (CREO), and generate detailed engineering drawing documents
• Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (preferably CREO) and Microsoft Excel
• Keen interest in mechanical design
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively across departments
