What the day will look like

  • Helping to develop new and existing Credit Solutions deals including Trade Credit Insurance, Structured Credit, Political Risk and Surety business in Asia,
  • Contributing to deliver/exceed the agreed revenue targets across the Credit Solutions business.
  • broking and actively undertaking Credit Solutions business, including insurer placement, strategy and engagement, ensuring best terms and conditions are negotiated for our clients and according to deadlines.
  • structure and place with insurers, credit and political risk solutions for corporations, traders and financial institutions.
  • This role has a strong focus on development of corporate, commodity & FI trade, trade finance & business including within industry & FI verticals. Product innovation and revenue development will be welcomed with new opportunities arising from the global energy transition initiative.
  • Research and due diligence in broking support for prospect/client research with full deployment of AI and other existing and developing tools and formats. Identify new tools, uses and make connections identifying opportunities/improvements that can arise from such tech developments.
  • Collaborate, network and make connections between Credit Solutions and other Aon teams and products Support the development of Aon United across Aon solutions lines.
  • Start developing Aon client relationship management skills and proficiency. Become familiar with the Aon Client model, 3x3 Plan and any other continual learning and experience that helps increase your Aon IQ.
  • To record information into and run reports from, Credit Solutions and Aon data recording platforms eg Aon Connect, excel.
  • Start actively developing your market connections and profile by attending insurer/association hosted training, market social events, follow trends and developments on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
  • Purposely develop your soft skills such as (but not limited to): listening, adaptability, accountability, resilience, communications, reliability, trust etc.
  • Undertake other tasks such as your manager may require and to behave at all times as a contributing team player.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Requirements:

  • Experience in Credit and Cyber insurance broking and basic knowledge of underwriting the same.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to succinctly and credibly present complex information to varying audiences
  • Ability a in developing and managing relationships with clients,insurers, colleagues & stakeholders.
  • Possess a growth mindset and a high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Self-directed individual with ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment
  • Enthusiastic about insurance solutions and genuinely interested in the Credit and Cyber insurance business and our clients.
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and credit analysis
