A leading international bank seeks an Analyst for their Global Subsidiaries team in Singapore. The role involves credit analysis, relationship management, and collaboration with clients. Suitable candidates possess a degree in Accounting or Finance and several years of relevant experience in risk management.
JOB SUMMARY
As a successful Analyst within the Global Subsidiaries team, you will provide proactive, comprehensive and timely credit analysis to Relationship Managers and the Credit community. Your daily job would include:
• Provide Relationship Managers with client insights in relation to an industry sector, client information and account plans
• Manage ongoing quality of portfolio, producing exception reports, review credit extending across entire portfolio to ensure consistency of approach
• Educate Relationship Managers on macroeconomic fundamentals impacting their credit portfolio
• Develop good relationship with clients to understand their banking requirements, structure deals, and get insights into their business and financials
• Be engaged in deal origination and execution efforts including providing assistance to Relationship Managers for the same
• Liaise and manage various product partners, across Parent and client subsidiary locations on account management and origination
• Evaluate learning around exception cases and seek to share this with other Analysts to help properly capture risk profiles and ensure robust credit analysis
• Assist Head CA / Relationship Managers / other team members on ad-hoc projects / deals etc. as and when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Assisting the relationship managers to run the account strategies of Global Subsidiaries Singapore portfolio of clients effectively.
Business
• Assisting the Global Subsidiaries Singapore relationship managers in driving client revenues & meeting revenue return targets for the Business by ensuring effective collaboration across the various internal & external stakeholders on a Business-As-Usual basis.
Processes
• Plays a key role in managing the end-to-end credit application process for Global Subsidiaries Singapore for existing clients as well as new-to-bank clients.
People & Talent
• To contribute to the upskilling agenda of the wider CCIBCC Singapore credit analyst team by training and providing mentorship to the junior credit analysts across CCIBCC Singapore, interns and International Graduates.
Risk Management
• Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating potential credit / business risks to the Global Subsidiaries Singapore Deaprtment while driving revenues in collaboration with the relationship managers and various product partners.
Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory & credit process / policies framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate
• Education Degree in Accounting or Finance & Banking
• Business communication proficiency
• 3+ Years of experience in Credit Risk Management
• Account Knowledge , Financial Analysis Skills and banking products Knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage several ongoing tasks at any one time.
