You will craft clear, persuasive copy and supervise the full creative development from concept to delivery, ensuring ideas are original, on brief and built to grow client brands. With 8–10 years of experience, you influence teams, mentor juniors and drive award-winning work across markets.

This is a senior creative role that requires you to assume leadership on assigned brands on a global and regional level, behaving as a creative partner to clients, strategists and account management. This role uses creative thinking to find brilliant communication solutions. Using intuition, the Copywriter develops ideas which are different and original.

FOCUS

• Uphold the creative reputation of the agency
• Provide overall thought-leadership in the area of communications solutions
• Developing creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the art director.
• Provide clear direction to teams on their creative work, ensuring that it meets the client’s goals and strategies
• Writing clear, persuasive, original copy.
• Oversee all creative development from concept to final delivery
• Proactively contribute to the client’s business growth and brand fame through best-in-class demonstrations of creative prowess
• Foster an environment that encourages effective and efficient development of the creative product in and among the teams you’ll be working with
• Monitor all project milestones, deliverables and risks and be a bridge to account leaders and senior management, communicating progress, issues and accomplishments
• Work with Account Directors to secure and drive new initiatives for clients, from efforts to grow an existing business organically or new business pitches

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to prepare and deliver convincing and winning arguments and presentations
• Up to speed on culture and best-in-class creative campaigns
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a Copywriter role.
• Valued for writing flexibility, conceptual/visual thinking and keen sense of strategy.
• A developed and high level of copy and visual literacy
