Job summary

Job description

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing daily specialist outpatient and inpatient care in the Department of Cardiology. Your responsibilities include participating in ward rounds and teaching seminars, including clinico-pathological case conferences. You will also represent the Centre at Coroner’s requests or medico-legal hearings involving patients under the department's care. Additionally, you will assist in training and guiding junior doctors such as Resident Physicians, Medical Officers, Residents, and Senior Residents.

Requirements:

  1. A basic medical qualification and relevant postgraduate qualification such as MRCP or equivalent, recognized by the Singapore Medical Council.
  2. An accredited Specialist in Cardiology with the Specialist Accreditation Board of Singapore.
  3. At least 6 years of post-housemanship clinical experience.
  4. Documented proof of:
    1. Measles (or Mumps, Measles, and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity;
    2. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccination taken within the preceding 10 years as per healthcare worker requirements under the Healthcare Services Act. Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing vaccination before starting work, upon successful interview and employment offer.
  5. Only applicants fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (per MOH’s definitions) will be considered due to exposure risks.
