The National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) is conducting the Assessing the Impact of an Oral Health Programme on Pneumonia among Older People living in Nursing Homes: A Stepped Wedge Cluster Randomized Trial study. This is a five-year study supported by National Medical Research Council which began last October 2023.
Associate/ Clinical Research Coordinator will be a member of a multi-disciplinary research study team and will be responsible for assisting in oral health examinations on nursing home residents, collecting research and clinical data, and supporting oral health education programme to nursing home staff. They will also be managing senior citizens aged 60 years old and above living in nursing homes over the course of the study.
Responsibilities
To assist in the oral examination performed by a dental officer. This could be in the form of recording oral examination findings and facilitating other fieldwork duties.
To work together with the study team in collection of research and clinical data.
To deliver training as part of oral health education programme to nursing home staff.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Oral Health Therapy, Health Sciences, Social Sciences or equivalent
Preferably 1-2 years of relevant work experience
Familiar or have experience working with data recording management system such as RedCap platform
Good knowledge of regulatory standards e.g. GCP, Citi Cert, HBRA and ethical considerations
Excellent command of English for written and oral communication
Able to work independently as well as in a team
