This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office.

HarbourVest is seeking an Associate to join our new Wealth Client Reporting team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a dynamic and fast-growing part of HarbourVest.

Wealth Client Reporting Associates are encouraged to be subject matter authorities and develop detailed evergreen product and private wealth knowledge.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include being accountable for all aspects of our clients’ reporting experience, including the creation, production, and ongoing management of fund reports and factsheets. Assisting with additional projects as needed.

The Wealth Client Reporting team will partner closely with Account Managers, Client Service, Wealth Product Marketing and Communications and with other functional teams to support content production.

What you will do:

  1. Lead and ensure timely and accurate distribution of all deliverables, proactively communicating potential delays to internal partners.
  2. Produce and distribute external-facing content while coordinating and collaborating cross-functionally.
  3. Understand the risk environment within the department – promote risk awareness, assessment, and control.
  4. Stay current with industry practices on marketing communications and client reporting to provide a best-in-class product for our clients.
  5. Constantly evaluate systems, processes, and procedures for inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvement. Coordinate with team members to see opportunities to enhance the fund reporting and content production process and final products.
  6. Exceptional project management skills, including ability to handle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  7. Actively participate in new software implementation to support the client experience.
  8. Inspire colleagues and self to engage and excel in work and career; adopt a culture of perfection, innovation, communication, and accountability, where all members of the team are motivated to go above and beyond.
  9. And other responsibilities as required.

What you bring:

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate level Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.) and a strong interest in and skills for learning new applications.
  2. Strong PowerPoint skills with an interest in creative thinking.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education Preferred

  1. BS/BA degree or equivalent.

Experience

  1. 3-5 Years of financial services, client reporting or equivalent experience preferred.
