Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Associate Chemist to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and ensure timely and accurate test results under minimal supervision. The role will be based in Jalan Boon Lay, Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various chemical analyses
  • Maintain laboratory stocks, consumables, standards, and documents
  • Manage and maintain instrumentation such as ICP-OES and GC-FID
  • Generate reports for tests conducted
  • Perform method validation and development as required
Skills / Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Chemistry with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in laboratory analysis, including ICP-OES and GC-MS preferred
  • Good work attitude and ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills
