Job summary

Singlife is a leading homegrown financial services company in Singapore seeking an experienced actuarial professional to support capital management and ALM analyses. You will build scenario-based models, assess capital relief solutions, and provide insights into financial position and sustainable growth.

Requirements include 5+ years actuarial experience in life and health valuation, degree in actuarial science, and progress toward actuarial qualifications.

  • Conduct in-depth capital impact analyses under various economic and regulatory conditions.
  • Explore capital relief solutions including financial reinsurance and captive reinsurance.
  • Quantify and assess impact of capital relief solutions, and model/implement these capital relief solutions into BAU process.

Key Appointments:

  • Balance Sheet Management within Capital Management function of Singlife.

Requirements:

Experience

  • At least 5 years of actuarialexperience in life and health valuation.
  • Strong knowledge/experience ofSingapore Risk Based Capital 2.
  • Self-driven and able to motivateteam members to deliver projects on a timely basis.
  • Great teamwork and collaborationwith internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Investment Office,regulators, auditors, reinsurers and group office.

Education

  • Academic:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Actuarial Science.
  • ProfessionalCertification(s): Working towards obtaining actuarial qualifications.
