A full-time position at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is open for a Tenure-Track Associate/Assistant Professor of Viral Immunity. Reporting to the Dean and Vice Dean, Research, the appointee is expected to undertake high-quality research in the area of Immunology of alphaviruses and flaviviruses within the Respiratory and Infectious Diseases Research Programme, aligned with the school's research strategy. The appointee will secure research funding and supervise research staff and students. Teaching responsibilities for medical students and postgraduate research students are also expected.

Person Specification:

  • MBBS/MD and/or PhD
  • Relevant postdoctoral or clinical experience
  • Proven record of translational clinical research and teaching in Respiratory and Infectious Diseases with high scientific impact
  • Experience with alphaviruses and flaviviruses is advantageous
  • Ability to supervise research staff and students
  • Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Willingness to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate education and training
  • Experience supervising graduate students to PhD completion
