Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and propose solutions to client’s request, bringing in subject matter experts from internal departments or external parties to assist where necessary
  • Main point of contact for clients’ request and attend to clients' inquiries promptly
  • Assist with account onboarding, maintenance and management of the client relationship, predominantly focusing on large insurance institutions
  • Facilitate the implementation of new instruments and strategies requested by the client.
  • Facilitate cash and securities transfers as well as other account management request from the client
  • Prepare presentation materials and conduct regular client review meetings to provide timely updates regarding ongoing request(s)
  • Customise and send client reports in accordance to clients’ requirements and timeline
  • Handle other client solutions duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • A relevant Degree, preferably in finance or accountancy
  • Proven track record of working within a client focused environment. Experience servicing large insurance institutions or operational background in asset management will be an added advantage
  • Industry experience relating to the financial markets, asset management or securities services will be advantageous
  • Knowledge in investments, derivative instruments and deep understanding of operational activities of asset management is mandatory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge in VBA / Macro is essential
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg and Morningstar will be useful
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong interpersonal internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrate behaviours of being resourceful, organised, and paying attention to details
  • Fast learner who is self-motivated and resourceful to resolve queries
  • An excellent team player with a “can do” attitude
