About Genting Ventures Management: New initiative of Genting Group to invest in technology start-ups that is synergistic and transformational to the group’s business and with high financial return potential. Main Responsibilities:

• Source, screen and evaluate new investment opportunities that are of interest to Genting Ventures
• Conduct market research to build and refine Genting Ventures’ investment thesis across focus sectors
• Carry out market research and due diligence of investment opportunities and create documentation for internal investment decisions
• Manage legacy and new portfolios post investment, portfolio performance tracking
• Business development for portfolio companies among affiliates of Genting Group as well as external partners e.g. venture capitals, corporates, government bodies and etc.
• Contribute and participate in compliance and risks updates and activities.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by Managers and Superiors

Requirements:

• 4-6 years’ prior experience from large organization with proper SOPs, M&A and corporate finance background, preferably with experience in business development or partnership
• Proven track record in investment transactions with attention to details
• Strong analytical and research capabilities, able to interpret data and provide relevant conclusion and recommendations
• Ability to write in a clear, succinct manner
• Ability to work quickly on time-sensitive projects in a flexible, collaborative and creative manner.
• Adaptable and a very quick learner
• Strong interest in venture capital and startups space
• Strong relationship management skills to develop new connections, broaden and deepen one’s ecosystem
• A good team player with the ability to work well with colleagues
