Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to support 12-hour production shifts in the Module, ensuring equipment readiness for production and timely PM/calibration.

You will assist engineers with installation of new equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, while participating in equipment improvement projects and quality initiatives. A strong emphasis on safety and housekeeping is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour rotating shifts to support production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
• Assist Engineer in installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and minimize downtime.
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Team to improve productivity and output quality of the Module.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in the production area.
