Job description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
  • Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations
  • Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions
  • Conduct regular inspection to ensure ECM and environmental plan in place
  • Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation
  • Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts; prepare reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with government agencies such as MOM, SCDF, NEA, and stakeholders for site safety matters and inspections.
  • Work as leader of safety team including coordination with client and subcon

REQUIREMENT /QUALIFICATION

  • Registered WSH Officer with MOM
  • Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in construction industry
  • Occupational Safety Management (including fire & safety management)
  • Familiarity with local regulations including WSH Act, WSH (Construction) Regulations, SS506, and ISO 45001.
  • Strong understanding of LTA, BCA, SCDF requirements (if working on infrastructure/public projects).
  • Experience in water reclamation plant will be advantageous.
