Job Description:
This is a full time role for an Assistant Warehouse Manager located in Yishun.
Our clients are hospital equipment and supplies in Singapore.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching.
- Supervise and coordinate the warehouse team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely execution of duties.
- Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and inventory control procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, goods movement, and stock levels in the WMS system.
- Participate in stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handle and resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and staff conflicts.
- Ensure efficient space utilization and layout planning.
- Support training and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
- Monitor equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance or repair as needed.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and efficiency.
- Act as the point of contact in the absence of the SCM
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Forklift license or relevant certifications will be a plus.
