JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling Plant Receiving, Stockroom, and LVHM Kitting activities to ensure that the company's goals and objectives are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assign daily work activities to subordinates based on priority needs.
- Manage department budgeting, manpower planning, and distribution. Ensure expenditures stay within budget.
- Develop and provide career paths for subordinates.
- Foster discipline and teamwork among subordinates.
- Regularly update Stockroom procedures to meet current business demands.
- Ensure 100% compliance with ISO procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative ideas.
- Conduct staff counseling and performance appraisals.
- Provide feedback on problems, concerns, and recommendations to ICs and the department manager.
- Lead the stockroom team to comply with all security and safety procedures.
- Ensure all stockroom key performance indicators meet set goals.
- Escalate any liability issues to management.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
- Proficiency in determining logistics requirements to support company goals, with the ability to devise and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including managing business analytics to optimize company footprint.
- Knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes and global customs regimes.
- Proven success in change management, productivity improvement, and cost reduction programs.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of SMT or equivalent warehouse management experience.
- Or a combination of education, experience, and training.
