Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Assistant Warehouse Manager located in Yishun. Our clients are hospital equipment and supplies in Singapore.

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching.
  • Supervise and coordinate the warehouse team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely execution of duties.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, goods movement, and stock levels in the WMS system.
  • Participate in stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Handle and resolve operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and staff conflicts.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization and layout planning.
  • Support training and onboarding of new warehouse staff.
  • Monitor equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance or repair as needed.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and efficiency.
  • Act as the point of contact in the absence of the SCM

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
  • Forklift license or relevant certifications will be a plus.
