About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the larger stakeholders across Private Banking (PB) business units and Operations processing centres (OC) in a variety of PB asks (e.g., new products/services, service level reviews, complaints, investigations, feedback and escalation, etc.)
  • Facilitate discussions between PB and OCs to add value and drive collaborative outcomes
  • Primary point of escalation and liaison for PB and OCs
  • Lead investigations into operational issues raised by PB and collaborate with OCs to ensure timely resolution and solution implementation
  • Liaison between PB and OCs, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding of terminology and requirements
  • Engage in adhoc RIOC assignments from Head of RIOC
Job Requirements
  • University degree holder in any discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience in operations supporting wealth products processing or private banking operations
  • Good knowledge of Wealth products, processes and regulations
  • Good written and spoken communication skills, with ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to derive collaborative outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and able to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate complex information and make expert judgements/decisions under pressure in complex situations
  • Personal resilience and ability to perform effectively in a pressurized environment with a positive “can do” attitude and a positive attitude to change
  • Motivated self-starter with initiative and showcases strong completer/finisher skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Detailed-oriented with good risk awareness
