About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities
  • As team member, your role reports to a Team Lead
  • Review terms of LC, contracts, documents to ensure deal can be self-liquidated.
  • Perform price check, vessel check, mark-to-market of collaterals & FX currencies and work within bank limits, counterparty limits & debtor limits.
  • Monitor vessel routes, vessel arrival and to serve notice to disport agent where necessary.
  • Follow-up with customers to secure and ensure timeliness of receipt of sales proceeds
  • Review BTB matching lists and discrepancies.
  • Adhere to bank’s policies, guidelines, regulatory & AML/CFT procedures
  • Timely and accurate delivery in accordance to Service Level Agreement
  • Assist Team Leads in any administrative tasks
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree with 5 to 8 years of Trade Operations/ Middle Office background. Familiar with banking regulations and AML/CFT policies.
  • Sound knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URC URR, ISP, URDG, MAS/ABS Guidelines and experience in all areas of international trade
  • Trade product knowledge
  • Proficient in excel & macro, tech savvy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous and strong follow-up skills
  • Able to work independently and strong teamwork
  • Inquisitive & positive learning attitude
