Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a KYC Operations Specialist to enhance compliance standards and drive quality assurance across KYC documentation. Job description

Key responsibilities:

  1. Review KYC files on a sample basis. Apply the QA methodology to deliver an objective review of client files. Perform accurate and consistent QA checks on KYC files across multiple business areas and client types for APAC clients.
  2. Identify issues within the KYC documentation and confirm issues have been remediated and/or appropriately escalated through the escalation process.
  3. Draft reports for KYC QA and CSG management to ensure that risks and issues are recorded and escalated as appropriate.
  4. Partner with the CSG teams to improve KYC standards. Support and contribute towards a continuous improvement program of work borne out of QA testing results, assess root causes and thematic issues proposing steps to be taken.
  5. Sustain a culture of teamwork and collective achievement of departmental goals and objectives within CSG.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or relevant.
  2. Profound knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) matters with over 5 years of KYC operations experience.
  3. Analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to think laterally around issues, proposing solutions where required.
  4. Experience with corporate/institutional clients and with preferably risk and complex client entity structures.
  5. Ability to work to high standards and under strong time constraints.
