Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead cost optimization and financial analysis across regional real estate projects. You will develop strategies, manage baselines, and produce rolling forecasts to guide major decisions and procurements.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong modeling skills, and proficiency with SAP, Excel and Power BI. You will report to senior management and collaborate with multiple teams across the region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years in financial analysis, cost optimization, or strategic planning.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, ERP systems (SAP), and analytics tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills to present insights clearly to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost optimization by analyzing high-cost assets and developing strategies to improve efficiency and utilization.
• Perform data mining and maintain a sound database to set baselines and track savings across projects and initiatives.
• Build and maintain financial models including rolling forecasts and 3-year P&L to guide major decisions and contract renewals.
• Monitor occupancy costs and identify savings through footprint rationalization and location strategies.
• Analyze procurement spend to support investment decisions and ensure alignment with cost-efficiency goals.
• Deliver timely reporting for management and regulatory requirements, including dashboards.
• Collaborate across teams with the division to provide financial insights for property-related projects and strategic initiatives.
• Cover regional countries as part of Group Corporate Real Estate Services, ensuring alignment and consistency across these countries.
• Be part of a 11-member CRES Office team, supporting other areas within the team and providing backup for critical tasks such as monthly financial closing and reporting.

• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and present financial insights clearly to senior management
• Able to connect the dots and see the big picture, ensuring strategic alignment across initiatives
• A proactive team player who can work independently and collaboratively
