Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Technology Procurement, as IT Category Procurement lead, you will work closely with the Global Category Head and Head of Enterprise Technology Procurement. Your responsibilities include contributing to end-to-end category management and strategy development, including sourcing execution, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Your role is crucial in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives that deliver tangible business value across all organizational units.

Job Overview:

Your responsibilities include contributing to end-to-end category management and strategy development, including sourcing execution, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Your role is crucial in identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives that deliver tangible business value across all organizational units.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop sourcing strategy documents for key spend areas to ensure a market-driven approach.
  • Provide guidance on sourcing activities in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Conduct supplier financial reviews, and manage Purchase Agreements and supplier business reviews.
  • Identify, lead, and execute cost-saving initiatives in IT procurement of goods and services.
  • Understand business needs to support market analysis and cost benchmarking by spend category.
  • Monitor commodity prices affecting product costs and analyze their impact.
  • Collaborate with Global & Regional Category leads to develop negotiation plans.
  • Create long-term category plans to maximize value across the enterprise.
  • Prepare periodic reports on IT procurement activities.
  • This role is vital to the efficiency and success of our organization.

Job Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in procurement, contract management, or vendor management within IT.
  • Experience in business management and strategic sourcing.
  • Skills in formulating negotiation strategies, including contract terms and KPIs/SLAs.
  • Experience with ADM processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Accounting.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPPM, CPM are advantageous.
  • An MBA in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in technology procurement and analytical software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within an international environment.
