Job description

The AVP, Data Platform Engineering & SRE is responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving SGX's enterprise data platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, secure, and efficient. The role combines data platform engineering, reliability engineering and operational excellence to deliver trusted data services that support business growth, innovation, and operational resilience.

Working across cloud and on-premise environments, the incumbent will design and operate platform capabilities that enable the delivery of high-quality data products, improve engineering productivity, strengthen observability, and enhance the reliability and resilience of SGX's data ecosystem. The role will leverage AI-assisted engineering practices and automation to reduce operational toil, improve service reliability, accelerate delivery, and drive continuous improvement across the platform lifecycle.
