  • As an Assistant Vice President of Business Development in the West region for Facilities Management, your role will be crucial in driving strategic growth, fostering client relationships, and exploring new business opportunities within the Facilities Management (FM) sector.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy to broaden client reach and boost revenue. This includes identifying growth prospects, emerging markets, and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Client acquisition and relationship management will be key aspects of your role. You will need to identify and pursue potential clients such as corporate occupiers and developers. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders is essential to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaboration with internal teams including operations, finance, and legal departments is vital for delivering customized FM solutions. Your leadership skills will be required to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment across different functions to meet client expectations.
  • You will also be responsible for developing high-quality proposals, bids, and tenders that cater to the specific needs of clients. This involves creating competitive pricing models and innovative service offerings to secure new contracts and support business development efforts in Facilities & Property Management operations.
  • To qualify for this role, you should have an MBA in Marketing or a related field along with a minimum of 10 years of core sales experience in Facilities Management & Property Management. A proven track record in business development within the FM/PM industry is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, along with experience in supplier costing, material management, and market analysis.
  • Your ability to handle client representatives with patience and maturity will be crucial for success. Key skills include effective communication, exceptional relationship management, strong business development capabilities in Integrated Facility/Property Management, tracking competition, staying updated with market trends, and proficiency in sales pitches, presentations, and client solutions.
