Overview

Citi Market Operations is a global organization with a presence in over 60 countries, supporting front‑post execution operations across commodities, products, margin, and asset servicing. The APAC Commodities Middle Office team ensures accurate, timely trade execution and controls throughout the trade process.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support to front‑office sales and trading, focusing on derivatives and securities transactions.
• Maintain position records in coordination with trading desk assistants or trade processing functions.
• Support trade capture management, front‑to‑back reconciliation, identification of operational risk, trade confirmation, and settlement forecasts.
• Use data analysis tools to recommend process improvements to senior management.
• Design and analyze complex reports to support control activities, identifying trends and recommending actions.
• Interpret data to support launch of new products or platform upgrades that enhance pre‑settlement and transaction capture processes.
• Minimize bank risk, reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
• Manage, escalation, and resolution of requests, inquiries, and errors while identifying policy gaps and developing policies to streamline processes.
• Provide informal guidance and on‑the‑job training to new team members.
• Assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating ethical judgment and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
