As an Assistant Tender Manager (Construction), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Support Senior Management in developing business strategies and fostering strong client relationships.
Assist in structuring partnership engagement models, focusing on legal considerations for strategic collaborations.
Lead and manage the Tender Department, overseeing all pre- and post-tender administration, including procurement activities.
Supervise cost planning and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Oversee the process of inviting quotations, conducting negotiations, evaluating bids, and finalizing agreements.
Work closely with stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate tenders for marine construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and alignment with company objectives.
Assess contractual obligations, payment terms, deliverables, and associated risks.
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to tender projects through strategic planning.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to ensure tender specifications are met and project milestones achieved.
Conduct regular evaluations to assess contract performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize value.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in contract/tender management in construction industry, including experience with large-scale projects.
Legal knowledge and experience with Tender are highly preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of marine construction processes, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance, including contract law and legal principles.
