Job description
Join a warm and vibrant learning environment in Mountbatten committed to shaping young minds through meaningful play and guided learning.
We're looking for an Assistant Teacher who brings heart, energy, and initiative — someone who wants more than just a “child-minding” job.
If you believe early childhood education should be joyful, purposeful, and done right — this one’s for you!
The Role
  • Assist with hands-on, age-appropriate learning activities for children aged 18 months to 6 years
  • Support children’s development through daily routines and guided play
  • Supervise children during meals, rest, and outdoor time, ensuring safety at all times
  • Handle diapering, toileting, and hygiene duties with care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and learning-ready environment
  • Participate actively in school events, meetings, and training
What We’re Looking For
  • Early childhood certification preferred (e.g., ECDA-recognised Fundamentals Certificate)
  • Must have prior experience working in an international school setting in Singapore
  • Strong spoken English; other language skills a plus
  • Calm, patient, and caring personality with a good sense of initiative
  • Team player with a can-do attitude — willing to get your hands messy, literally and figuratively
Working Hours
  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No weekend classes!
  • Follows MOE school calendar (term breaks and school holidays apply)
Compensation & Perks
  • Paid time off aligned with the school holiday calendar (up to 6 Weeks annually!)
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Positive, respectful work culture
  • Ongoing training and professional development
Why Join Us?

This is more than just a job — it's a chance to be part of a close-knit teaching team that values kindness, quality, and child-centered learning.
