Job summary

ETONHOUSE PRE-SCHOOL PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a caring Early Childhood Assistant to support the Main Class Teacher with setting up learning spaces, preparing teaching materials, and conducting daily inquiry-based activities for young children.

You will conduct Malay Language sessions, supervise meals, hygiene, naps, and outdoor play; document learning, display artwork, and maintain resources while upholding ECDA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of L2.
• Proficient in spoken and written Malay to conduct Mother Tongue lessons.
• Good conversational English for daily communication with team members and parents.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an ECDA-registered preschool or childcare center.
• Patient, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood education.
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting children’s learning and displaying their artwork and class projects.
• Maintain classroom resources, learning materials, and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Support school events, festive celebrations, parent-teacher meetings, and open houses.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
