Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Operations and Customer Service
    - Assist the Station Manager in daily operations and delivering quality customer service.
    - Handle passenger issues, ticketing matters, and crowd control.
    - Manage access to the station and operate the Passenger Service Centre.

  • Safety and Compliance
    - Enforce Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) Regulations and company safety policies.
    - Conduct security patrols and coordinate with Transit Guards on security issues.
    - Monitor for fire risks and prohibited items in railway premises.
    - Ensure safe work practices, proper activation of staff protection devices, and valid track access qualifications.

  • Incident and Emergency Handling
    - Assist in managing station incidents and implementing the Safety Management System.
    - Drive and operate passenger trains as needed, including acting as Emergency Train Operator.
    - Manually set train routes locally in a safe and efficient manner when required.

  • Training and Development
    - Help train new staff and trainees through on-the-job training.

Perform other duties as directed by his/ her superiors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 credits 'O' Levels

  • Able to reach a height of 207cm with both hands

  • Willing to perform shift work, including night shift, weekends and Public Holidays

  • Minimum 2 years working experience, preferably in the service or retail industry

  • Required to manually operate station and trainborne equipment

  • Possess a pleasant disposition and personality

  • Good interpersonal skills with a passion to work with people

  • Ability to identify colours
