A leading automation technology company is looking for a Software Developer to assist in developing and testing software modules. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Information Technology, proficiency in Java, and a good understanding of relational databases. The role includes supporting the customer post-project and delivering software effectively.

• Proficiency in Java with object-oriented design skills is essential.

Job description

Duties and responsibilities :

• Assists in gathering User Requirements and meeting Customer

• Assists in creating Functional Specification and Basic Design

• Develops the assigned software modules and performs internal testing

• Assists in setting up of PC hardware, Server, and other peripherals

• Assists in the testing and commissioning of software on-site

• Assists in creating software deliverables (Specifications, Operation, Troubleshooting & etc)

• Assists in the handing over of software deliverables to Customer

• Assists in supporting the Customer after project go-live
  

Job Requirement :

• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design skills

• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL, Oracle preferred

• Basic understanding of PLC programming is an advantage

Minimum Qualification :

• Diploma in Information Technology or relevant field.
